Get to know Amandeep Kaur, Account Director in the TMP India Office.

TMP: How long have you been with TMP?

Amandeep Kaur: 1 year and 6 months.

TMP: What is your current role and responsibilities?

AK: My current role as an Account Director is to understand the recruitment and branding requirements of my clients, formulating media strategies to meet their requirements within the set budgets and time frame, analyze the results and optimize the campaigns to achieve better ROI.

TMP: What does your department do?

AK: We provide strategic recommendations on additional TMP solutions to grow the account organically, as well as provide support to the business development team in developing proposals and campaign strategies for new pitches.

TMP: What other roles have you had while at TMP?

AK: I have been trying my hand at acquiring new accounts besides the existing set of accounts I’m already servicing.

TMP: What do you think is unique about working at TMP?

AK: The freedom to explore. Nothing binds you to your current role as long as you are doing your job well.

TMP: What advice would you give to new employees?

AK: Just be prepared to be a part of a group of very approachable senior professionals who are leaders and do not act as bosses.

TMP: What’s one interesting fact about yourself that your coworkers don’t know?

AK: I came in 3rd at the National Level Skating Competition at the age of 6.

TMP: What’s one of your favorite things about living in India?

AK: The variety of trekking destinations to be explored every month, no matter what part of India you reside in.
