What you’ll do

Joining Radancy as a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll immerse yourself in cutting-edge Cloud Native Technologies. Since 2016, we've operated on-premise Kubernetes clusters, and recently, we've fully transitioned to Talos Linux. Embracing an open-source-first approach, we're unafraid to delve into source code to solve complex issues. Our websites have been running on Kubernetes for years, and we're actively migrating more peripheral tasks to Kubernetes, utilizing GitOps (flux) for management.

 

You'll be part of a dynamic team, collaborating to expand our platform, increase automation, and leverage your expertise to enhance our pipelines, monitoring, and observability. You'll contribute to setting up a multi-cloud-multi-cluster service mesh and improving the developer experience.

Who you are

  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Highly skilled in navigating the complexities of Linux and adept in the subtleties of shell scripting.
  • Skilled in networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, OSI.
  • Experienced with Gitlab CI/CD or similar solutions.
  • Expertise in Docker containers and containerization.
  • Knowledgeable in Mysql and MariaDB.
  • Familiar with Nginx as a preferred web server.
  • Proficient in Kubernetes.
  • Experienced with Prometheus.
  • Skilled in shaping Grafana or similar monitoring tools.
  • Mastery of Git / GitOps.
  • Extra points for experience in: EFK, Ansible, Talos, Flux, Helm, Minio, AWS, Go Lang, PHP, Laravel / Symfony, Vault, Haproxy, Crowdsec, Service meshes in Kubernetes (Kuma / Istio), Terraform.

The gross minimum salary according to the collective agreement (2023) based on the Austrian law for this position is 3.455 Euro. This includes full health insurance, occupational accident insurance, public pension scheme, and public unemployment insurance. Depending on your professional qualifications and previous experience, your salary can be of course significantly higher.
