WHAT: Will lead a session titled, "The Necessity of Mobile Readiness," at the Human Capital Institute's (HCI) 2013 Strategic Talent Acquisition Conference.

WHEN: The conference will be held from Monday, June 10 through Wednesday, June 12, 2013.

"The Necessity of Mobile Readiness" will take place on Tuesday, June 11 at 2:50 p.m.

WHERE: 2013 Strategic Talent Acquisition Conference

Boston Park Plaza

50 Arlington Street

Boston, Mass.

DETAILS: Despite the rapidly growing adoption of mobile technology, most company career sites have failed to accommodate visitors accessing those sites on mobile devices and tablets. Research from Dr. John and Associates shows that less than 8 percent of Fortune 100 companies have mobile-enabled career sites. Moreover, as 88 percent of job seekers indicated that they would or already are searching for jobs via mobile internet, according to statistics from PotentialPark, there is a serious disconnect between demand for a mobile recruiting process and the number of mobile-optimized career sites available.

During his session, David Spector, global head of Mobile for TMP Worldwide, will explain why organizations need to have mobile-optimized career sites and/or a mobile recruiting app to ensure they attract the ever growing number of candidates conducting their job searches on mobile devices. Spector will also discuss the importance of location and social interaction via mobile devices to foster engagement and discuss how attendees can choose the mobile methods that are right for their organizations. In addition, Spector will outline the components of a successful mobile communications strategy.

Attendees of the HCI 2013 Strategic Talent Acquisition Conference who wish to learn more about how their organizations can benefit from offering a mobile-optimized career site are encouraged to attend this informative session.
