We’re all familiar with the phenomenal cost-per-applications and cost-per-hires that can be achieved by sponsoring jobs on Indeed. Their interface is simple, intuitive, and effective; essentially a search engine for jobs. But on Wednesday, Indeed made the service two-way when they introduced Indeed Resume. Now employers can search for the ideal candidate, and even better they can do so for free while the service is in beta.
Indeed has been collecting resumes for several months and has made it quite easy for candidates to upload or import their resume from LinkedIn. As such there are already over 37,000 resumes within 25 miles of Chicago, over 76,000 in New York City, and over 38,000 in LA.
There has been no official word on how long the beta period will last or how much the service will cost when it’s over, so we encourage recruiters to give this a try sooner rather than later.
Go ahead and give it a try today!
