TMP launched the newly enhanced T-Mobile career website, T-Jobs 1.5. T-Mobile was guided through TMP's career website development model following the Five Planes of User-Centered design - Strategy, Scope, Structure, Skeleton, and Surface.
T-Mobile approached TMP while in the very early phases of reviewing their need to develop a new employment website to invigorate and improve their existing site, T-Jobs.
TMP conducted usability tests to determine the ideal user experience and appropriate information architecture functionality. Using T-Mobile's in-house usability lab, TMP conducted two rounds of testing using a 1-hour task script. In addition, TMP conducted three focus groups to determine attitudes toward content direction and overall brand positioning.
A Skeleton Plane was created to serve as a template for the design and development of the new Surface Plane of the T-Mobile careers website, with improved navigation and interfaces. The result was the introduction of the new T-Jobs 1.5 website.
Judy Wright, Senior Program Manager, Employment Brand of T-Mobile was enthusiastic about the launch, saying, "The new website has exceeded our expectations. The main page in particular came alive from the conceptual idea TMP presented, in an engaging way that we had not originally anticipated. We were able to realize a product that was developed from research and with the candidate in mind."
Judy added, "T-Jobs 1.5 will help T-Mobile achieve ambitious HR goals by delivering a strong candidate experience that is focused on ease of use, quick access to career opportunities and engaging communication about corporate culture."
Judy Wright summed up the website development process by saying, "TMP's ability to deliver an exceptional product matched T-Mobile's business needs perfectly. The level of expertise of the team members and the strong partnership TMP built with our other vendor on the project made this initiative successful. Thank you TMP for a great client experience!"
