March 25, 2011- To coincide with the new website and logo released this month, TMP recently launched its brand new exhibitor's booth display at the ERE Conference in San Diego. Along with an impressive 90" screen, TMP also displayed the newest logos, banners and 'giveaways.
Of course, TMP didn't attend this ERE event for the purpose of showing off our new screen; we attended the show in order to meet with clients, both old and new and educate attendees on our latest service and product offerings.
A number of TMP employees were on hand during this two-day event including a number of digital strategists and Vice Presidents meeting with existing clients and several new business development representatives working in the exhibit hall at the booth. And, there was at least one TMP'er walking through the crowd on the first day with a substantial glass trophy that had been awarded that day to AT&T in recognition of winning ERE's 'Best Career Website' award.
Foot traffic at the new booth was moderate to heavy at peak times on the first day, but fairly slow on the second day. There were at least half a dozen meaningful conversations with new business prospects at the booth in the exhibit hall; and as usual, there were a tremendous number of conversations with other vendors wanting to partner with TMP in a number of ventures.
Most of the conversations with new prospects were -no surprise- related to TalentBrew. Considering that our collateral on hand was related to this product line, and it happens to be the easiest entry point for new prospects, TalentBrew continued to dominate most of the conversations being held with new business prospects.
Our new trade show booth has a lot of promise to deliver and a compelling message in a manner that will really stand out in future events. And, having the only 90" screen in the room sure isn't going to hurt!
