Employment Management Association (EMA) 2006 Creative Excellence Awards

The Employment Management Association (EMA) 2006 Creative Excellence Awards event, hosted in San Diego on March 30, repeatedly focused the spotlight of creative recognition on TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications. The agency captured a total of 39 awards, including two high-profile "Grand Prizes." These prestigious Grand Prize wins were in the centrally important "Newspaper" category and in the "Non Print Promotion" category, where the agency won for an animated multimedia recruitment piece that was developed for Northrop Grumman.

In addition, the agency captured 18 First Place awards, on behalf of clients that include Northrop Grumman, Internal Revenue Service, and Kaiser Permanente, among others. TMP Worldwide also was recognized by EMA once again this year as the First Place leader in the following digital advertising award categories:

  • 1st place - College Website
  • 1st and 2nd place - College DVD CD-ROM
  • 1st and 3rd - DVD CD-ROM
  • 1st and 2nd - Corporate Employment Website
  • 1st place - Employee Referral Program (Online)

TMP Worldwide also took home a First Place specialty award for "Best Campaign for Diversity Recruitment," a critical, specialized area of recruiting that TMP Worldwide helped pioneer and continues to lead.

These top awards, and all of the 39 total awards TMP Worldwide was presented by EMA, are particularly significant because of the respected body that evaluated entries and selected the awardees. EMA is a Professional Emphasis Group of the Society for Human Resource Management, a highly regarded industry association committed to advancing the human resource profession. Each year, the EMA presents its Creative Excellence Awards to agencies nationwide in recognition of the highest achievements in creative recruitment advertising. Receiving awards from one's own industry organization, based on their informed expert evaluation, is particularly significant and rewarding.
