"The Power of Search Visibility" Webinar

On February 10th and 17th TMP Digital hosted "The Power of Search Visibility" — an informative webinar that gave customers and prospects an opportunity to learn more about how the search landscape can be leveraged for recruiting and sourcing. Statistics on the growing use of search by job seekers were shared, along with an overview and brief "behind the scenes look" at paid search (SEM) as well as organic content and job optimization (SEO) practices. Results and outcomes for real campaigns were also shared to promote the success and positive ROI employers can achieve from diversified campaigns that include a strong search component. The session closed with a look toward "What's next?" — the collision of search, social media and mobile — and what it means for employers now and in the future. TMP digital will be repeating these sessions in late March/early April for anyone who missed these sessions or would like to share them with your colleagues. Digital Breakfast held in San Francisco

TMP San Francisco held their second annual Digital Breakfast in Redwood City on February 9th. With just under 20 attendees from local organizations such as Apple, Gap Inc., Brocade and Applied Materials, the event turned out beautifully. Louis Vong (VP Digital Strategy) and Shannon Hughes (Digital Strategist, SF and Northwest) partnered in delivering two presentations surrounding 2010 trends in social media, search marketing and mobile; addressing executable program implementation and high level ideas. It was a well received ‘show' all together and a great way to support TMP prospects and clients in kicking off their talent planning for the new year!

"How's Work?" event successfully debuts in Miami

To help clients and prospects understand the unique challenges of the digital landscape and the comprehensive solutions that TMP Worldwide brings to the table to address these challenges, the Miami office hosted a successful three-hour seminar on February 2. The event featured Elizabeth Saury, Digital Strategist extraordinaire, Rob O'Keefe, Vice President of Brand Strategy, and two client guests, Steve Lewis of Deluxe and Susan Slater of McKesson, who participated in a virtual panel.

Elizabeth kicked off the mini-conference with a tour of the digital world, focusing on social networking, mobile and the latest tools and services available to TMP clients. Rob then spoke to the group of 20 clients and prospects about rethinking their approach to employer brand management, moving beyond advertising to employee communications, mobilizing employees to broadcast in the digital space and even optimizing the employment experience to make it better than it was. In other words, all the features and benefits of our offering, "How's Work?" Our virtual guests from Deluxe and McKesson then spoke about how they have applied the employer brand work they conducted with TMP to create talent communities, develop messaging strategies for employees and of course, attract candidates to both of these great companies.

Feedback from the session's attendees has been very positive. Congratulations to the Miami office for organizing and hosting a greatly informative and well received event.
